As soon as a child enters the family unit, it's natural for the relationship of the parents to take a step back as you fumble your way through this new stage in your life.
Sometimes you may need a little help to bring the focus back to strengthening that core relationship. Your children watch and learn by example, so showing them a strong, cohesive and loving relationship helps them aspire to achieve the same enjoyable life that their parents have.
I focus on offering support and guidance to parents to build their attachment with their children, and to support them in the important role of parenting. I believe that it is important that the caregivers are a part of the therapeutic process from beginning to end.
